  Bifocal glasses were invented by Benjamin Franklin. He invented the lenses to solve his reading problem. The lenses have two parts. The upper portion is required for farsighted vision and the lower portion is required for nearsighted vision. The lens for nearsighted vision comes in different shapes such as half-moon, round, narrow rectangle, and full bottom. It is difficult for many individuals to choose the perfect bifocal glasses . The article discusses these aspects. Types of Bifocal Glasses There are mostly three types of bifocal glasses . These are reading glasses, traditional bifocals, and no-line bifocals. These types of bifocals are discussed below. ·          Reading Glasses: There is no need for a prescription to make these lenses. These lenses are comprised of a clear lens that contains a magnified section in the bottom to help near vision. ·          Traditional Bifocals: These types of lenses require two prescriptions. One for the top lens and another one for th
